Corona-Norco Teachers Association (CNTA) Scholarship
Qualifications for Student Eligibility:
1. Priority is given to students with a parent/guardian who is a CNTA contributing member,
and to students who are interested in the field of teaching. However, all eligible students
are encouraged to apply and will be considered for receipt of a scholarship.
2. Must be attending a 2 or 4 year college immediately following high school graduation
(Proof of enrollment must be presented in order to collect the scholarship award.)
3. Attend a CNUSD high school for the entire senior year, and earn passing grades
4. Demonstrate a financial need that is determined through application and interview
5. Minimum 2.0 GPA

Documentation Required:
1. Completed CNTA Scholarship Application (may be picked up in the College and Career
Center and/or Counselling Office)
2. List of school and community activities, categorized by grade level
3. List of honors or awards received in high school
4. 2 Letters of Recommendation
5. Personal Essay
6. Copy of unofficial transcripts (pick up transcript from Counseling or Registrar’s Office)
